Its a warm March morning and I met belle flor on the top floor of a coffee shop in Camden, London to have a chat about her career so far, here's what she said..
I asked her about the new album and she seemed very excited to say 'So, the album for me really just explores identity and who I am as a person, its been a real discovery for me and now I can say I have never felt more myself. It's been a really powerful experience being able to put my emotions, thoughts and relationships into one album. This album marks the first chapter of my life.'
There's one song I am really excited about on the album and she told us that the song '2008 is about a day I remember so vividly from my childhood when I first remember questioning my identity and gender. It's a really honest, open song and it makes me very emotional to play it live, I hope people can relate to the emotion in the song'
Euphoric Silence out on the 2nd September on all streaming sites and vinyl after an incredible response from her recent EP release called 'ballroom boredom'. belle flor said 'I've always loved vinyl and the album sounds way more dreamy coming from a record player' hence why the vinyl is an extended album with three more tracks for listeners to play.

We strayed away from talking about her music career and belle started talking about the climate crisis and how shes 'been passionate about the climate crisis for a long while now, but fashion is an area I believe is less focused on so I want to educate people on the negative effects of fast fashion and how you can combat it. All the clothes in my music video were second hand or handmade from sustainable materials.' Its very important for people like belle flor to use their creative platform to educate and inform, others about pressing issues of our time.
belle flor has had a insane 6 months since releasing her last EP and since then she has had to deal with fame coming overnight, we talked about this surge of fame and she described it as 'Incredible, scary, emotional, hectic... So much has changed and the overwhelming support I've received has been amazing. I didn't have the support or belief in myself a year ago, but now I am so proud of my progress and the guidance from friends in the industry has made this album a reality for me.'
To end our chat we talked about the next time belle flor will be down for the start of her debut album tour and I asked her what else she plans to do in London: 'Well, I would probably spend all my time in Brick Lane and shop for more second hand clothes for my music videos and myself, they always have really cool fits there.
If you want to see more of belle flor here is the first interview we did with her off the back of her second EP release 'ballroom boredom'.
